Our front lawn was looking pretty pathetic....large bald spots. Kris from Lawn Doctor came out to take a look, and her diagnosis was "sod web worms and cinch bugs". Her crew came out and did an insect treatment, along with fertilization. We saw a noticeable improvement within that first week. Then a few days later, we started to see large yellow patches all over the lawn. I called Kris, and she said it sounded like the lawn could not keep up with the rapid new growth and needed iron. Once again, her crew came out (free of charge) and treated the lawn with an iron solution. Within two days, we saw the yellow patches begin to disappear! I have been extremely pleased with Lawn Doctor of The Woodlands. Their expertise and customer service are excellent! ~ J R

I used Lawn Doctor to perform a core aeration service on my lawn. Kris was extremely responsive and communicated very well throughout the process. Their rate was only slightly higher than renting the machine and performing the work myself, and it saved me the trouble. The weather held them up a few days, as the heavy rains wouldn't permit the work. Kris kept me in the loop the entire time, and let me know when the ground was dry enough to come out with their machine. Their team performed the work quickly and even spent some time after completion cleaning up the driveway and sidewalks, making sure all of the plugs of dirt pulled out of the lawn were off the concrete. Great job overall and I will definitely call them for future needs. ~ Chad N

We've been a customer for several years now since I fired my last provider due to terrible service conducted by lazy and unprofessional applicators. Lawn Doctor of The Woodlands has restored my faith in professional weed control and pest control. Their service techs are respectful and professional. They contact me before arrival and are available for me to point out areas of concern. My lawn continues to be the envy of my neighborhood. I'm often asked by neighbors who handles my fertilization, and I'm proud to recommend these guys every time. I also utilize their mosquito control service. We've been very happy with this as well. NEVER have we had a lawn service that is so dedicated to help make our lawn beautiful. We had some issues with our lawn and needed help. We could not do it ourselves...too overwhelming. We phoned Lawn Doctor one day this week. The owner comes by the very NEXT day. Punctual to the second! The owner was professional, courteous, listened, and then began his diagnosis. Then the FOLLOWING day (the day before Thanksgiving!) the owner scheduled his team to come to our home and treated our lawn. Lawn Doctor takes pride in their work. Rocky from Lawn Doctor just finished another application on our lawn at our home in WoodForest. I talked to Rocky after he had finished & thanked him for consistently doing such a great job. I also told him that our lawn is the best it ever has been. Almost all bare spots are now completely covered with a healthy, vibrant lawn. I want to also commend Crashaun, Marco, Abby & Jeffrey, Lawn Doctor technicians who have previously done applications this year. I highly recommend Rocky & the other technicians for Lawn Doctor for your lawn maintenance. I have used Lawn Doctor for a number of years and am extremely pleased with the company from the top down. Initially, available services were explained to me in detail and management helped me develop a plan that fit my needs and budget and I have not been disappointed. My yard looks great! Quincy Booker is my on-site technician and he is very knowledgeable and personable. He texts when he arrives and answers any questions I have. If needed, is happy to walk the yard with me to answer any questions I have. If he is unavailable for a scheduled service, the office knows to just reschedule when he is available. This is an update to my previous review. It's been a few years now and the service has only gotten better. They are always ready to insure that the lawn is looking it's best and go out of the way to head off dangers. You don't want the word Doctor in your logo if you can't perform! I see the trucks in the neighborhood more and more as the work they do is being noticed. The Lawn Doctor crew is always responsive and timely with their service. I get numerous comments on the "look" of our lawn. Price, on a yearly basis, is quite competitive. Give them a shot and if you get Quincy Booker on your first service you won't want anyone else. ~ Tom G

Recently moved into a new build house which has St Augustine sod (which I don't have experience with). My technician, Quincy, came out and evaluated the yard and made recommendations for service. He priced everything out, explained all the options thoroughly, and was able to treat the yard same day. In addition to the service he gave helpful advice for how to care for St Augustine and watering recommendations. Still early in the season to determine how the yard will respond to the treatment, but the experience so far has been superb thanks to Quincy's excellent customer service and professionalism. ~ Drew B

As a new Lawn Doctor customer, what I have enjoyed most has been the excellent communication with the technician who services my lawn. At every visit, he shares his observations and offers advice for my consideration. Unlike the other national brand, big name companies who dump their product on your lawn and run. Also, Lawn Doctor has a wide menu of products and services. I get to pick and choose what I want and need. Not one size fits all. So far, the same technician treats my lawn. Lawn Doctor has been servicing my lawn for the past few months. I have found them to be professional and thorough. I was impressed that I was able to text a technician several times over this past weekend in an effort to identify a rapidly growing problem with my lawn. The tech asked for photos and was able to identity my problem and was on site at my home to confirm the problem on Monday! He confirmed his diagnosis, and took immediate action to treat the problem. This is exceptional customer service far and above the service I have received from other lawn care companies I have dealt with. ~ Darrell H

I used The Lawn Doctor last year. We have a half-acre lot and had been using a different company in prior years. We had an invasive weed called Doveweed that we had been battling for a couple years and for the first few treatments with The Lawn Doctor we were afraid we were losing the fight but by the end of the summer and fall we saw a significant reduction in the Doveweed. It is a very tough weed to eradicate but The Lawn Doctor did a good job. It isn't 100% gone and I don't know if it will ever be eliminated completely but we're winning the battle. We are using The Lawn Doctor again this year(summer 2022) and expect to continue getting great service. Also, one of the main reasons we had stopped using the prior service provider was they were horrible at communicatin what they were doing and when they would be doing it. Lawn Doctor of the Woodlands-Magnolia-Tomball is great to work with and my lawn always looks great. One year there was a problem with armadillos doing a lot of lawn and garden damage in our development. This Lawn Doctor helped tremendously to get this under control. The office personnel are awesome. India, as well as others, are always professional and kind. Any inquiry made is cross-checked with the experts and an answer promptly provided. Everyone at The Lawn Doctor is amazing but especially Rocky, who is my lawn technician. He keeps my lawn looking GRRREAT!! The Lawn Doctor takes very good care not only of my lawn but all of my shrubs, trees, fungus issues, ants and diseases that can cause harm to your lawn and plants.I don’t have to buy anything anymore because they take care of everything. The Lawn Doctor saved us!! Hurricane Harvey hit us with 4 1/2 feet of water not only in our home but left us with standing water for days. Tons of weeds came from a far that landed in our yard. Lawn Doctor turned it around and has maintained our yard for the past several years. There was no way that we could have accomplished what they did. We get complements all the time from neighbors, friends and people just walking by. They do an outstanding job, and they are very professional!! Kris and her team have done an OUTSTANDING job for us. After cycling through 2 "big boy" firms that did not (or could not) provide the attention our grass and landscaping needed, we tried Lawn Doctor. After one year, Kris and her folks have made a marked improvement to our yard, solving issues that "the other guys" could not. We had an extensive weed problem in our back yard. Lawn Doctor came and evaluated what the situation was and outlined a year plan to resolve. We have been using them for about 3 months and see a 100% improvement. They have been great. We receive notifications when they will arrive and instructions on watering, letting dogs out, .... once they leave. Yearly, our lawn is aerated. The company we choose for this service is Lawn Doctor of Spring-Magnolia. The last two years Rocky Jones has taken care of our aeration. Once you meet Rocky, you will want him back, too. First, he is extremely polite, kind and professional. Second, he is knowledgeable and interested in helping you achieve your lawn goals. We have been using Lawn Doctor for years and always have excellent service! Rocky Jones came today and was pleasant, and professional. We use both the lawn care and mosquito treatments and he does behind our fence for mosquito treatments which is awesome because this is where most of the mosquitoes originate so we can enjoy our backyard pool and patio ! He stays away from the flower beds to help protect the bees. 🐝 We use their organic lawn program and our lawn is as beautiful and healthy as can be! Highly recommend! ~ Christine S

Quincey Booker and all the people at Lawn Doctor are very professional. I like that they check in with me when they arrive and ask me if there are any areas of concern. They then do what they came for and check out with me before they depart letting me know exactly what was treated or performed on my yard. For the first time in 4 years of being in my new home I am not ashamed of how my yard looks! Thank you Lawn Dr!!! Lawn Doctor of The Woodlands-Magnolia does a great job at a reasonable price. I'm a DIY'er most of the time with my home and cars. In the past, I've tried DIY lawn care with hit or miss results (mainly misses); but with Lawn Doctor, my lawn has never looked greener. I mow my own lawn, but l leave the fertilization and weed control to Lawn Doctor. I will also note that my lawn requires alot less water. I am 100% satisfied with Lawn Doctor's service. ~ Brian S

Always on time, text when arrive/leave (great accountability), great instructions for what to do after they leave, I really like the way they communicate! We have lived in this house for over 15 years and my lawn looks the best it has ever looked. I tried for years to feed my lawn and get rid of fire-ants on my own, store products and homemade concoctions, nothing worked. With Lawn Doc my lawn is healthy, looks great and no fire ants.
